Blue Jays Call Up Pitcher

The Toronto Blue Jays have called up Casey Lawrence from Triple-A Buffalo.

This is very exciting news for Lawrence, as he is set to pitch at the major league for the first time since the 2018 season. Back then, he was a member of the Seattle Mariners, where he sported a 1-0 record and 7.33 ERA in 11 appearances. Now, four years later, he is back in the majors. 

Lawrence is also a familiar face to the Blue Jays organization, as he pitched in four games with the team in 2017. In 38 career games between Seattle and Toronto, he has a 3-3 record, 6.64 ERA, and 66 strikeouts. It will be intriguing to see how much these stats change during his second stint as a Blue Jay.
