Athletics Call Up Pitcher

The Oakland Athletics have called up Austin Pruitt to their major league roster.

Pruitt immediately made his debut for the Athletics following the call-up and looked solid in the process. He did not allow a run in an inning pitched and will be looking to carry over this momentum from here. If so, he should be able to secure himself a spot in their bullpen for the year.

Pruitt also comes with a bit of MLB experience, so that also helps his case of sticking around. In 74 career games between the Rays, Astros, Marlins, and A's, he has a 12-9 record and 4.80 ERA.
