Angels Sign Pitcher
The Los Angeles Angels are set to sign Grant Dayton to a minor league contract.
This news comes a few days after Dayton elected to leave the Miami Marlins and become a free agent. Now, he will be aiming to impress in the minor leagues in hopes of landing an eventual call-up to the Angels' major league roster.
In 99 career games over five seasons between the Dodgers and Braves, Dayton has a 3-4 record, 3.43 ERA, and 119 strikeouts. It will be intriguing to see if he will be able to build on these totals with the Angels from here.
