Angels Infielder Placed On Injured List

The Los Angeles Angels will be without Anthony Rendon, as the third baseman has been placed on the 10-day injured list with wrist inflammation. 

Rendon has appeared in 41 games this season with the Angels, where he has five home runs, 23 RBIs, and a .242 batting average. Overall, it's been another fairly quiet season from the 2019 All-Star, so he will be hoping to find his form again once he's healthy.

Yet, with the Angels sporting a 27-20 record and looking to cement themselves as a playoff team in 2022, losing Rendon is certainly not ideal. Here's to hoping that the veteran will be able to return to the lineup once this 10-day stint on the IL is over.
