Amazin' Mets Snap Incredible 0-330 Streak
The New York Mets pulled off something Thursday night that they haven't accomplished in 25 years, roaring back for a 9th inning comeback to erase a 6-run deficit. By doing so, they snapped a remarkable 0-330 mark.
The Mets score 7 runs in the top of the 9th to come back and beat the Phillies.

The Mets rallied for 7 runs to erase a 7-1 deficit and defeat the Philadelphia Phillies 8-7. The first time in 331 games they've come back from trailing by that much in the 9th. In fact, there had been 857 consecutive losses by teams in that position. Somehow, the Mets accounted for nearly 40% of that total.
"I'm sure everyone counted us out," Brandon Nimmo said. "I'm an optimist, I just keep going until they blow the whistle," Nimmo said. "You just never give up. The stats can say all they want. They can say it can't be done. But that's why you play the game."
Nimmo was one of the catalysts, his 2-run single tying the game, before he came across the plate for the winning run on Starling Marte's double.
Needless to say, Phillies fans weren't taking the loss too well.
