White Sox Provide Update On Eloy Jimenez
After leaving Saturday's game early, there was concern that Eloy Jimenez would have to miss some time. Well, the team has now stated that he is expected to be out for the next six to eight weeks with a strained hamstring.
The White Sox losing Jimenez is certainly not good news for them. He is an important part of their lineup, so naturally, they will miss him when he's out. This is especially when noting that they have started this campaign on the wrong foot - as their 6-8 record shows.
Once this handful of weeks pass, hopefully, Jimenez will be healed and ready to go for the White Sox. In 243 career games with the White Sox, he has 56 home runs, 164 RBIs, and a .268 batting average. It will be intriguing to see how much these numbers increase once he is back in the lineup.
