Video: Tigers' Miguel Cabrera Gets 3,000th Career Hit

He's done it! During Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera recorded his 3,000th career hit. 

Naturally, as soon as Cabrera reached this monstrous milestone, his teammates swarmed the field to celebrate with the star. 

Getting 3,000 career hits is a major achievement by itself, but Cabrera is also in elite company in another aspect, too. He is only the third player in MLB history to have 3,000 hits, 500 home runs, and a career batting average of at least .300.
