Video: Red Sox's Tanner Houck Throws Insane Slider

The Boston Red Sox have high hopes for pitcher Tanner Houck. The youngster has had a solid start to his career and is looking good in 2022. During Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays, Houck struck out Zack Collins with an absolutely filthy slider.

There wasn't much Collins could have done with that pitch, as it had significant movement until it reached home plate. As a result of this, the veteran catcher was left frozen.

The Blue Jays would have the last laugh, however, as they defeated the Red Sox by a 3-2 final score at Fenway Park. With this, Toronto now has an 8-5 record, while Boston has fallen to a 6-7 record.
