Video: Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Hits 3 Home Runs
Toronto Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had a game to remember during Wednesday's contest against the New York Yankees. The 23-year-old hit three home runs against the team's AL East rival.
With this three-home run game, Guerrero Jr. now has four on the season. With that, he also has eight RBIs, and a .391 batting average. This amazing start is certainly great to see, as Guerrero Jr. is coming off of a stellar 2021 season. In 161 games, he had a league-leading 48 dingers, 111 RBIs, and a .311 batting average.
These kinds of performances are what baseball fans should expect to see from Guerrero Jr. as he continues his career. It's crazy to think that he is just getting it started, and he's already hitting at such an elite level.
The Blue Jays would defeat the Yankees by a 6-4 final score. With this, Toronto improved to 4-2, while the Bronx Bombers are now 3-3.
