Twins Place Starter On Injured List
Minnesota Twins pitcher Bailey Ober has been placed on the injured list due to a strained groin.
This is unfortunate to see, as Ober has been having a good start to the 2022 season. In four starts on the year, he has a 1-1 record, 2.75 ERA, and 16 strikeouts. Although the season is young, he is currently avoiding the much-dreaded sophomore slump. In fact, he has shown signs of improvement, as he had a 4.19 ERA in 20 games last season in Minnesota.
It will be intriguing to see when Ober will be available to return for the Twins. At this point of the year, they have a 12-9 record and are first in the AL Central, so it would be ideal for the club if he comes back as soon as this 10-day stint on the IL passes.
