Twins Pitcher Placed On Injured List
Sonny Gray was one of the Minnesota Twins' biggest additions this offseason. However, their fans are unfortunately going to have to wait for a little before seeing him again, he has been placed on the 10-day injured list.
Gray is currently dealing with tightness in his right hamstring and exited Saturday's contest early because of it. Given the fact that this is the beginning of the season, it is wise that both parties are deciding to take things carefully with this injury.
Gray's tenure with the Twins has been a little bit rough thus far. In two starts for the club, he has surrendered four earned runs in 6.1 innings pitched and has a 0-1 record because of it. However, once he is healthy, he will have plenty of time to rebound from his slow start.
We will provide updates on Gray's injury once more information comes to light. Until then, here's to hoping the veteran pitcher has a speedy recovery.
