Tigers To Be Without Outfielder
The Detroit Tigers will be without Victor Reyes for a bit, as the outfielder has been placed on the injured list due to a left quad strain.
Reyes is currently in his fifth season with the Tigers, and he's off to a pretty solid start. In 10 games on the year, he has zero home runs, four RBIs, and a .261 batting average. Although he hasn't necessarily been dominant, he has been an effective hitter for contact.
With Reyes out, the Tigers will have to adjust their starting lineup accordingly. On the bright side, it seems that his current injury isn't too severe, so he could be back as soon as this 10-day stint on the IL is over.
Nevertheless, here's to hoping the rest does Reyes some good, and that he can build on his solid start very shortly.
