Ronald Acuna Jr. Trashes Freddie Freeman
It's hard to find anyone who had a bad word to say about Freddie Freeman before his departure from Atlanta. But now that he's a Los Angeles Dodger, Braves superstar Ronald Acuna Jr., for one, isn't sad to see him to go.
Ronald Acuña Jr. was just on IG Live and according to our resident bilingual r/Braves user, he said:

- He won't miss Freddie Freeman.
- They had friction.
- Freeman didn't care when he was plunked.
- He was overbearing.
- He wasn't someone Ronald could talk to ever.
Acuna has denied saying these things, however, it's all here, in Spanish. Translation to follow:

Yes he did say he wouldn't miss Freeman, he also said they kinda clashed a bit mainly bcs when Acuña came up in 2018 he was getting a lot of crap from Freeman and other veterans on the team for having his own style that they didn't really agree with bcs it wasn't
Really part of the game in 2018, such as him wearing his hat a bit sideways and using a lot of eye black which he says they literally wiped it off his face and said he couldn't being doing that. That irked him

Among the issues Acuna seems to have had with the once-legendary Braves first baseman, was the treatment he received from him when he was a rookie. Freeman apparently didn't like Acuna wearing his hat a bit sideways, and was part of the veteran crew that literally wiped eye black off his face, saying they don't do that in Atlanta.
Acuna also said he wasn't really able to talk to Freeman, and that they were only teammates, not friends.
The interviewer himself has confirmed all of this.
Ronald said he won’t miss Freddie Freeman, said he wasn’t nice to him in his rookie year and even talked about the rookie hazing. The hit by pitch stuff was something I mentioned first. GN.

It's apparently time to turn the page in Atlanta. The Ronald Acuna Jr. era is now ON.
