Reds Place 2 Players On Injured List
The Cincinnati Reds will be without Jonathan India and Mike Moustakas for at least a little while, as both players have been placed on the 10-day injured list.
India is currently dealing with a strained right hamstring. The 2021 NL Rookie of the Year has been off to a bit of a slow start this campaign, as he has zero home runs, two RBIs, and a .241 batting average. Yet, once he is healthy, it wouldn't be shocking to see him heat up again. Keep in mind, he had 21 home runs, 61 RBIs, and a .269 batting average last year.
Moustakas has a biceps strain, so he certainly would benefit from taking these next handful of days to rest. The veteran infielder is off to a brutal start this campaign. In 31 at-bats on the year, he has a .139 batting average and 13 strikeouts. Once he is ready to go again, he will be looking to bounce back.
