Rangers Pitcher To Miss More Time
Texas Rangers pitcher Jon Gray is heading back to the injured list. This is because the veteran starter now has an MCL sprain in his left knee.
This is Gray's second stint on the IL this season already. He previously missed time because of a blister. Once he recovers from this most-recent injury, we all should be hoping that he can stay healthy from here.
Gray has had two starts with his new team this season, and he has struggled a bit during them. In 9.0 innings pitched, he has allowed seven earned runs on six hits and two home runs. Needless to say, once he's ready to go again, he will be aiming to bounce back.
Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see just how long Gray will be out. With the Rangers currently struggling, they definitely want him to return sooner rather than later.
