Phillies Outfielder Set To Return
Some help is on the way for the Philadelphia Phillies. Outfielder Odubel Herrera is ready to return to the lineup and make his season debut.
Herrera will likely be heading right back to the starting center field position. He is coming off a pretty solid 2021 season, as he had 13 home runs, 51 RBIs, and a .260 batting average. If he can replicate these totals in this campaign, his presence in the lineup will certainly be appreciated.
Herrera has spent the entirety of his career with the Phillies, so the team will also be happy to have such a familiar face return. In 755 games with the team, he has 73 home runs, 284 RBIs, and a .274 batting average. With that, he also was an All-Star during the 2016 season.
Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see how Herrera performs during his seventh season in Philadelphia.
