Nationals Call Up Pitcher
The Washington Nationals have called up Aaron Sanchez to their major league squad.
Sanchez quietly signed a minor league contract during the offseason, and he has now officially landed this amazing promotion. During this call-up, he will be aiming to impress, as it could result in him permanently sticking around.
Sanchez's vast experience at the major league level should help his chances of this coming to fruition, too. In 159 career games between the Toronto Blue Jays, Houston Astros, and San Francisco Giants, he has a 35-34 record to go along with a 3.93 ERA. With that, he is a one-time All-Star and won the ERA title in 2016.
