Mariners Place Outfielder Back On Injured List
Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger is once again heading to the injured list. After returning to the lineup during Friday's game for Seattle, he now has suffered a right ankle sprain.
At this juncture, Haniger has been placed on the 10-day IL, but he is set to have more tests to determine the severity of his injury. If they turn out to be bad, he understandably will have to miss much more time than just the next 10 days.
Haniger is a huge part of Seattle's offense, so his absence will be noticed. He is coming off of a 39-home run campaign and has the ability to be an All-Star in this league. Thus, the Mariners will be hoping that his injury isn't too serious and that he can return very shortly from here.
