Mariners Pitcher Placed On Injured List

The Seattle Mariners have placed Paul Sewald on the injured list.

Sewald has been off to a very solid start this season with the Mariners. In four appearances, he has yet to allow a hit or run and has three strikeouts. Thus, him having to now miss some time certainly isn't ideal given his hot streak.

Sewald is currently in his second season with the Mariners. He made an immediate impact in the 'pen last season, as he had a 10-3 record and 3.06 ERA in 62 games. Once he is healthy, he will be looking to have another year like that one.

Nevertheless, here's to hoping Sewald will be ready to go again very soon.
