Dodgers Call Up Pitcher

With Blake Treinen now on the injured list, the Los Angeles Dodgers have called up Garrett Cleavinger.

Cleavinger already made an appearance for the Dodgers during the 2022 season, Yet, it wasn't a very impressive one, as he allowed two hits and a run in 0.2 innings pitched. With this current call-up, however, he will be aiming to help improve his 13.50 ERA. 

Cleavinger is no stranger to the sport's most competitive, as he pitched in a career-high 21 games with LA last season. In them, he had a 2-4 record and 3.00 ERA, so he certainly had moments where he was reliable.

It will be intriguing to see how Cleavinger performs during this second chance with the major league squad. If he performs well, perhaps the team will keep him in their bullpen even when Treinen is ready to go again.
