Cubs Pitcher Suspended 3 Games
Chicago Cubs pitcher Keegan Thompson has been suspended three games for intentionally hitting Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Andrew McCutchen.
Thompson did this in retaliation to multiple Cubs batters being hit by pitches earlier on in the contest. However, even with this being so, he couldn't have made it any clearer that he was aiming at McCutchen, as he almost hit him on the two pitches before it, too.
Following the incident, the benches cleared but nothing too outrageous occurred from that. Instead, both teams were talking with one another.
Nevertheless, do you feel that Thompson deserved a suspension for this play? Let us know in the comments!
