Capra is a right-handed batter that can play second, short, third base and left field, and was off to a strong start in Buffalo, batting .304 with an .855 OPS, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs in 18 games.
He also had a solid year for New Hampshire in Double-A in 2021, with a .327 average, a .945 OPS, along with 10 HR and 58 RBIs in 79 games for the Fisher Cats.
Capra is a former 20th-round pick in the 2018 June Draft by the Blue Jays.
Francis was acquired from the Milwaukee Brewers as part of the Rowdy Tellez-Trevor Richards deal in July, 2021. He was just called up by Toronto four days earlier, and made his major league debut by pitching 2/3 of an inning on Wednesday. He'll head down to Buffalo for a bit more seasoning.
