Baltimore Orioles Ace Out Months
Things have gone from bad to worse for the Baltimore Orioles and John Means. The team's top pitcher has been moved from the 10-day injured to the 60-day injured list. With this, he will officially be out long-term.
The Orioles are not anticipated to be contenders this season, and it already shows in their current record. At this juncture of the season, they have a 2-6 record and are right back at the bottom of the AL East. Yet, given Means' importance to the team's rotation, it definitely stings to hear that he will be out for at least two months.
In two starts this season, Means has once again been off to a solid start, as he has a 0-0 record and 3.38 ERA. Overall, he has once again been effective, but sadly, his campaign now has to be put on pause.
Alas, here's to hoping that Means will be good to go once his stint on the 60-day IL is over. Time will tell what happens on that front.
