VIDEO: Watch Dodgers GM Answer Question About His Team's Pursuit of Freddie Freeman

If a smile was worth a thousand words, we know full well what Los Angeles Dodgers' GM Andrew Friedman is trying to say, when asked on MLB Network this afternoon about Freddie Freeman:

MLB Network host Brian Kenney asked Friedman what his level of interest is in Freeman. His answer, with an ear-to-ear smile: "He is a really, really, really good baseball player."

He followed that up by saying, "I can say he's really good at baseball. It's hard to go beyond that. ... As soon as that decision is made, it will be easier to speak on."

Does it sound, and look like, Frieman knows something about Freeman's decision that we don't know?

The Dodgers, of course, have been the most prominent player in the chase to land the free agent first baseman. They do have competition, though, in the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays. Insider Jon Heyman, in fact, says the Rays are being "really aggressive" in the bidding, and aren't going down without a fight.

But we should soon know where the L.A. native is headed, and what Friedman was smiling so large about.
