Toronto Blue Jays Pitching Coach Arrested for DUI
It's turned out to be an embarrassing weekend for Toronto Blue Jays pitching coach Pete Walker who was arrested Friday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Walker was arrested and was said to be going 82mph in a 45-mph zone in the area of County Road 611 and Curlew Road in Pinellas County, Florida. Walker, 52, failed a sobriety tests at the scene and admitted to drinking four beers at 'eating facility' prior to driving.
Walker is known as one of the best in the business and was getting close to landing a managing position in the big leagues. This certainly won't help the resume. Let's see how the news is being taken by Blue Jays fans and baseball fans alike:
Pete Walker will be (and should be) suspended. Going 82 mph in a 45 zone is fucking insane to begin with. Doing it while inebriated is just so dangerous to everybody.

Pete Walker, tho...😳🤦
Pete Walker probably gets a fine and suspension for his completely idiotic decision. #BlueJays

The Pete Walker news is not good. Hope he doesnt get fired. Although a fine, suspension (miss Home Opening Weekend) and mandatory classes/treatment should all be considered....that is if the law doesnt want to punish him more.
