MLB Rumors: 2 Teams Interested In Jorge Soler

According to David O'Brien, the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres are heavily pursuing Jorge Soler.

Soler just split the 2021 season between the Kansas City Royals and Braves. In 149 games between them, he had 27 home runs, 70 RBIs, and a .223 batting average. However, he truly thrived after joining the Braves, and nothing displays that more evidently than him winning World Series MVP.

When Soler is on his game, he is an immensely big force. Besides last season's awesome run with the Braves, he also had 48 home runs and 117 RBIs in 162 games with the Royals back in 2019. Thus, he has a lot overall power and can be a major threat because of it.

Although the Braves would love to bring the outfielder back, it's clear that they have a lot of competition with San Diego right now. We will have to wait and see who ends up signing him.
