Dodgers Sign Veteran Pitcher
The Los Angeles Dodgers are staying very busy, as they have signed Tyler Anderson to a one-year, $8 million contract.
Anderson spent the 2021 season between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners. In 31 appearances, he had a 7-11 record, 4.53 ERA, and 134 strikeouts. With numbers like those, he could be a decent part of the bottom half of the Dodgers' rotation.
Anderson also comes with a fairly good amount of experience at the major league level. In 117 career games between the Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants, Pirates, and Mariners, he has a 29-38 record and 4.62 ERA.
The Dodgers are continuing to be very active via free agency. It would not be surprising if they make a few signings and moves before Opening Day arrives.
