MLB Rumors: Mariners To Go All In On Free Agent Outfielders
MLB Insider and former major league general manager Jim Bowden says the Seattle Mariners are one of the teams to keep an eye on to plunge headlong into the free agent outfield market once the lockout lifts.
When the lockout finally ends watch for the #Rockies #Mariners and #WhiteSox to be heavily involved in the free agent outfield market for: Kris Bryant, Nick Castellanos, Michael Conforto and Seiya Suzuki.

With Jarred Kelenic, Mitch Haniger and Kyle Lewis set to occupy three of the four outfield/DH spots, Bowden says the Mariners will be in on the likes of Kris Bryant, Nick Castellanos, Michael Conforto and Seiya Suzuki.
Bryant is also a third baseman, another position the M's are looking to fill after the retirement of longtime Mariner Kyle Seager. That flexibility could make him a key target for GM Jerry DiPoto.
While Castellanos might be more of a fit at DH at this point, Suzuki is an elite fielder in the outfield. His posting window from his Japanese club still has about 20 days left once the lockout is over, and there will be some stiff competition for his services. The most recent reports have the Mariners as a finalist for his services.
The M's spent on Cy Young Winner Robbie Ray to beef up the pitching staff, and they're ready to open up the vault again once baseball business resumes.
