The National League East division is one of the best in baseball each and every year as the group of teams is loaded with talent. In 2021 we saw the Atlanta Braves not only win the division but also the World Series. The Philadelphia Phillies arrived as a powerhouse and 2022 is going to bring a very entertaining season across the entire division.

2 Bold Predictions for the NL East

Miami Marlins Win More Than They Lose: Yes, a winning record in Miami is coming folks as 2022 is going to be the year they get back on track. This will be a huge uphill climb for the organization after they went 67-95 in 2021, but they are capable. Marlins fans will have general manager Kim Ng to thank for it all as the mastermind has been constructing a solid cupboard of prospects and talented young players. Their pitching staff is going to be sneaky good and if players like Avisail Garcia and Jazz Chisholm Jr can continue to develop, they will be balanced enough to win some games. 82 at least.

Philadelphia Phillies Win the Division: The Phillies are still trying to land themselves another impact bat and another proven starter for their rotation. They are certainly not a complete team at this point. They just posted their first winning season in nearly a decade and Bryce Harper has his team poised to take another step. Philadelphia is still in talks with Trevor Story and Carlos Correa so expect to see one of the two sign a mega-deal in the city of Brotherly love. Two other names on their radar include Michael Conforto and Nick Castellanos. The team went 82-80 in 2021 and in 2022 will win 90 games and their division.
