Marcus Stroman Calls Out the New York Yankees
Shocker, Marcus Stroman continues to be critical of the New York Yankees. The latest comes from a Twitter feud with fans as Stroman can now cross off the Yankees as a potential destination.

Yankees fans became pissed off at the 30-year-old starter for his comments on social media after he started responding to reports he was going to sign with the ball club. Stroman criticized how the team continues to spend but can't seem to put any playoff wins together.
U don’t like us man what’s the reason lmaooo. Doesn’t matter u never pitched an important game in ur life hold it

Stroman's response "you mad because that crazy payroll continues to let you down year after year? Get off my page and go communicate with the front office bitter boy. LMAO." Perhaps the career .500 pitcher has some more time on his hands these days to be getting involved with fan debates on Twitter.
The chirping continued as fans were clapping back about the Mets payroll and the fact the Yankees actually made the playoffs in 2021. The self proclaimed 'Stro Show' had this to say in response:
Yankees haven't won a World Series since 2009. They routinely spend more than any other team and acquire the biggest names at every trade deadline. The way they spend and players they get should result in much more success than they've had...you don't agree?
Stroman's hate for the Yankees dates back to 2019 when general manager Brian Cashman commented that he didn't feel Stroman was a game-changing starter and called Stroman a possible fit for their bullpen. It's obviously a receipt the starting pitcher has kept up his sleeve.
As for his performance on the field, Stroman made 33 starts last season and tallied a 3.02 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over 179 innings. The favorites to sign him include the Texas Rangers and St Louis Cardinals. One thing we do know, it surely won't be the Yankees.
