Baltimore Orioles Shopping Star Outfielder

We already reported that the Baltimore Orioles are currently shopping starter John Means. Now, they are also open to listening to trade offers for star outfielder Cedric Mullins.
After the season Mullins just had, it's apparent that his trade value is immensely high. He completely broke out, as he had 30 home runs, 59 RBIs, 30 stolen bases and a .291 batting average. With that, the 26-year-old was understandably an All-Star. He also was the lone player during the 2021 season to make the 30-30 club, too.

Before this season, Mullins struggled to find a permanent spot in Baltimore's lineup. Over the three previous seasons, he only played in 115 games. With that, he had a .225 batting average, seven home runs and 27 RBIs. Thus, this remarkable increase in production made him one of the league's biggest surprises this season.

Besides his excellent campaign and young age, Mullins also is under team control until 2026. That also understandably heightens his value in a trade.

It will be interesting to see if the Orioles decide to move him. It would make for a real blockbuster of a deal.
