Los Angeles Dodgers Star Infielder Likely Done For Postseason
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has announced that Justin Turner has a grade 2 hamstring strain and likely will not be returning for the rest of the playoffs. This is still the case even if the Dodgers advance to the World Series.
In Wednesday night's game against the Atlanta Braves, Turner would injure his hamstring while running to first base. It was apparent that the 36-year-old was in clear pain, so it was easy for fans to predict an injury had occurred.Roberts said early indication is Justin Turner has a Grade 2 hamstring strain: “I think that’ll be it for him.”

This is a massive blow for the Dodgers, as Turner is one of their most important players. In 151 regular season games this year, he had 27 home runs, 87 RBIs and a .278 batting average. From here, he would be named an All-Star for the second time of his career.
The Dodgers are currently down 3-1 to the Braves and have their backs against the wall. That is not to say that they cannot force a comeback, but losing Turner certainly does not help their chances.
