New York Mets GM Arrested, Found Asleep at the Wheel

New York Mets acting general manager Zack Scott has been arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), as he was found asleep at the wheel early on Tuesday morning outside of White Plains, New York.
Apparently, many in the Mets organization were at team owner Steve Cohen's Connecticut home for a fundraiser for the Amazin' Mets Foundation. It was reported that the event concluded at 9:00 PM EST, which would lead one to wonder why Scott was found out so late on a Monday evening.
This latest news is just another blow to the Mets franchise since they fired former GM Jared Porter back in January. They survived a rash of injuries throughout the season only relinquished first place in the NL East in early August, before ultimately dropping out of playoff contention altogether, dealing with the thumbs down incident and now the news of Scott's DWI arrest.
Mets fans have to be hoping for the end of the season to come as quickly as possible.
