Chapman's June was a complete debacle. He had a 19.04 ERA in his last 8 outings, topped off by surrendering his first-ever grand slam in a crushing loss on Wednesday.

Aroldis Chapman had a very down June that culminated with a Jared Walsh grand slam on Wednesday.

It was the first HR he's allowed on his slider all season. It's been a significantly worse pitch for him since June 3, and the average spin rate is down by over 100 RPM. pic.twitter.com/WA5n3thVfc
Yes, spin rates are down, and that's hurt a lot of pitchers. But can the lack of sticky stuff be to blame to the point where the once-invincible Chapman is now performing like the worst reliever in baseball?
Since June 10, opponents are hitting .464 with a 1.405 OPS against Aroldis Chapman. He's got a 17.47 ERA and a 3.71 WHIP, both of which rank as the worst in Major League Baseball out of the 217 relievers who have made at least 5 appearances over that span. That's tough.

Chapman has been pretty good in the past about reaching out to fans on social media, including this hilarious take on the Houston Astros' cheating scandal. However, his Twitter account has been dormant for over a year, and now he's gone private with his IG.
If Yankee fans are looking to troll Chapman, they'll have to find another route going forward.
