[Watch] Mets Pete Alonso With Some Interesting Words Following Latest HR Derby Crown
While all the hype was on Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani, everybody seemed to forget all you had to do was ask New York Mets first baseman and defending champ Pete Alonso who was going to win. Alonso would have told you he never once doubted himself and knew going in he was going to reclaim the crown.

Alonso outlasted Baltimore Orioles Troy Mancini in the final round after eliminating Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals in the second round and Salvador Perez of the Kansas City Royals in the first round. After the latest derby, Alonso had some interesting words during his interview:
