[Video] NY Mets GM Opens Up About Trade Deadline Intentions
The New York Mets are going to be active in July and that doesn't just mean the team on the field. Mets general manager Zack Scott has admitted he's willing to consider all deals but also made note he'll be smart in doing so.
The team is finally getting healthy with the likes of Michael Conforto, Jeff McNeil and Brandon Nimmo resurfacing. After the All-Star break the last missing piece in J.D Davis should be returning as well so it's all systems go for the Mets lineup.
Scott knows he needs to find some more pitching as the injury bug hasn't been as kind to the rotation. Carlos Carrasco is out until the end of the month, meanwhile Noah Syndergaard until September and Joey Lucchesi already out for the season. The Mets GM had this to say about how he can upgrade his club:
