Montoyo Calls Team Meeting; Blue Jays Snap Losing Streak in Spectacular Fashion
After yet another disheartening loss Friday night, their 5th straight, Toronto Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo called for a small team meeting in his office, to get a feel for the mood in the clubhouse. And boy, did it do a world of good.
The Jays came out on Saturday and recorded a stunning six-run 9th inning comeback to beat the Baltimore Orioles, and snap that nasty losing streak in spectacular fashion.

Friday night, Montoyo called Vlad Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, Marcus Semien, Randal Grichuk and Joe Panik into his office for a chat.
They all assured their manager that there is NO panic (a Joe Panik, yes, but no panic).

“We’re fine. Everything in the clubhouse, everybody’s fine, nobody’s panicking," said pitcher Robbie Ray. And that sentiment was echoed, almost literally, by Montoyo, wearing his feelings on his sleeve... or at least, the front of his shirt:

"This is fine. Everything is fine. It's fine." Turns out, the team meeting combined with Montoyo's t-shirt were enough to inspire the Blue Jays to end their losing streak.
