Add the shoulder soreness to the litany of ailments deGrom has suffered this season, despite putting up numbers that put him on course for one of the greatest seasons for a pitcher in major league history.
That means deGrom has dealt with side, back, elbow and shoulder soreness so far this season. https://t.co/VYcEvi0kOa

In addition to tonight's shoulder issue, deGrom has also faced elbow, back and side troubles, but has still compiled a ridiculous 0.54 ERA with a 6-2 record, and an equally insane 111 strikeouts in 67 innings.
In deGrom's last two starts he has pitched nine innings. allowing zero runs on one hit with 18 strikeouts and zero walks.

And he came out of both games with an injury. Bloody hell.
All of baseball should be holding its collective breath that deGrom is OK.
