Blue Jays Put Up Record HR Barrage at Fenway
The Toronto Blue Jays went into Fenway Park this weekend and virtually demolished the place! On Sunday, they posted no less than EIGHT home runs, a new record for a visiting team, in an 18-4 pounding of the Boston Red Sox.

The 20 total Toronto hits kept the scoreboard operators in the Green Monster working overtime to keep up. They apparently had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to come up with a "20" for the hit column...
The Blue Jays had so many hits today the Fenway scoreboard crew had to post a *reeallly* old number tile

Leading the way was Teoscar Hernandez, with a pair of 3-run HR over the Green Monster. League-leading hitter Vlad Guerrero Jr. blasted a HR in his 3rd consecutive game, while Bo Bichette, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Cavan Biggio, Rowdy Tellez and Marcus Semien joined the HR hit parade.
The Jays have put up insane numbers so far in their 4-game set with the BoSox. Toronto has won 2 of the first 3 games, posting a total of 30 runs, 16 HR and 46 hits!
The scariest thing about the Toronto Blue Jays is they’ve had a top 3 offense in baseball and have done it without their $150M leadoff man. Eight home runs and counting off Boston today, and George Springer is nearing his rehab assignment. They’re frightening with more pitching.

Thanks Jeff, I’m already having nightmares about it.

Yes, American League pitchers have every right to be very afraid.
